The Challenge
The creativity challenge presented was to produce a website design that communicated the the sophistication of Ethos Corporation. The style of the Ethos Corporation branding has an understated yet proud feel to it. Translating that for the web is challenging in a medium where users seek out rich experiences and websites are swimming with content and branding. While the temptation of the web is to go into sensory overload, the brand alignment demanded more restraint and being able to respect the client's brand was an important aspect of the challenge in this work.
The Solution
The solution that Fatpublisher provided was one of a managed information heirarchy that took the abstract nature of methodology and created a visual experience that communicated the clear-thinking approach of our client.
Structurally, the design grid provided a variety of options in presentation. An organised line of sight with some boxed layering to achieve guided eye movement through the information. The colour palette of the website emphasised the brand strength and the use of simple metaphors steered clear of the overused stock images popularly employed by our client's competitors.
Calm visual cues to seek out more information creates an experience of discovery for the user who is more used to attention-seeking calls-to-action.
The Result
The finished product is a creatively engaging website that communicates the sophisticated brand that represents Ethos Corporation. A site that promotes a clear message and carries an understated and confident presence.
